Get Started Now

You feel stuck, trapped in survival mode.

Your life feels out of control. It seems like you either feel anxious or depressed… or nothing at all.

It’s a challenge to feel safe, at ease. The restlessness keeps you up at night; it robs you of your sleep.

Relationships seem to lack meaning, depth; you tend to keep people at arm’s length.

You want so badly to connect with others, but when you get close, it’s like your body sounds the alarm.

You try to regain control, tell yourself to calm down. The harder you fight, the worse it gets.

It’s like your body has a mind of its own.

You know there has to be more to life than this.

Why does your past have to take away from your now?

You want to be able to connect with yourself, to live authentically and fully in the present.

Sometimes, you feel like you can do just that. But those moments are few and far between.

You want to discover how to regain control of your body and not be so easily overwhelmed.

You want to feel safe. To feel whole. To feel free.

I see you, and I’m here to help.

Meet Bree

I’m Dr Bree Shelby, PhD

Psychological Associate in Paducah, KY

I believe you are enough.

I believe that every human longs for connection with others and that sometimes the painful messages from our past get in the way.

You are capable of connection, of healing, of wholeness.

When I work with clients, I help them identify those tired, old, negative beliefs they hold onto from the voices of their past. Identify then rewrite.

Therapy is about creating a space for your story to be told. It’s a place where I can help you gently challenge to create a new vision of yourself.

I’m not afraid to go into the dark places with my clients.
